Everyman Theatre Cheltenham

Everyman Theatre Cheltenham

For more than 120 years the Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham has welcomed some of the world’s finest writers, directors and performers onto its historic stage.  The Everyman presents the best in touring theatre, offering everything from drama to musicals, comedy to opera and ballet and its own professional pantomime.

The Everyman also has a first class Studio Theatre presenting the best in small-scale and innovative theatre and a diverse and active community and education programme.  The theatre underwent a major restoration in the Summer of 2011, restoring the beautiful Frank Matcham designed auditorium to its former glory.

To form a theatre company is always a bold move but TCTC is bold, brave and certainly deserves to succeed! Good quality and innovative drama outside London is greatly needed and these brand new adaptations of fine novels will add so much to the current diet.

Cheltenham is delighted, of course, to be part of the circuit of theatres involved and we already detect audience enthusiasm  for the forthcoming productions.
